Most of our relationships involve small to medium-sized businesses, and it’s a choice that has always been intentional. We love partnering with clients who run companies of this size—clients who are fully devoted to their professional purpose and those they serve. They motivate and inspire us on a daily basis and are a big reason why we love our jobs so much.
We have the privilege of working with exceptionally talented and creative people. Who are they? Why are they great? What do we do for them? From time to time, we highlight some of our favorite clients and share some of the ways we’ve been able to help them with their accounting tasks to free up time and energy to effectively operate their businesses.
The Stuff That Matters
The team at Asperger Experts (AE) is committed to empowering and educating people with Asperger’s. Created in Seattle in 2012, this transformational media company creates courses and fosters online communities that cater to those on the autism spectrum. AE relies on a staff comprised of people with or affected by Asperger’s to create content derived from personal experience. Honest and inspiring, this team is doing incredible things and serving a great need.
We initially focused on cash flow when engaging with AE. Our goal was to address short-term cash flow needs and establish long-term goals to give the AE team a better perspective of the business as a whole and the foresight to keep it growing. After implementing a weekly cash flow analysis, we were able to succinctly identify opportunities that brought external capital into the business to boost its footprint. Today, we collaborate with the AE team to manage their books and advise them at a high level so they can focus on creating important, engaging courses and content as a vital resource to the Asperger’s community.
